Large particles that flow along with return or outside air are trapped by aluminium pre-filters. The smaller particles come across are charged by ionizer wires which are charged 8.2 KV DC positive, and collector plates which are charged 4.1 KV DC positive. The positively charged particles are attracted like a magnet by the negatively charged collector plates. This can trap the particles as small as 0.01 microns, and the odour will be absorbed by the activated charcoal filter or photo catalytic filter(Tio2) with the presence of ultraviolet light(253.7nm).

Photo grade catalytic Titanium Dioxide (TiO2) is a Photo grade catalytic substance. With the presence of UVC energy, Photo grade catalytic Titanium Dioxide filter generates hydroxyl radicals (OH-) which destroys microbes in the air by oxidizing them. It converts bio-aerosols into their basic elements, carbon dioxide (CO2) and water compounds and organics odours absorbed on the catalytic surface. The filter destroys biological air contaminants rather than transfer to another media.

Bio-aerosols are converted into harmless carbon dioxide and water permanently. The filter is effective for microbes, endotoxins, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), organic odours, bacteria, mold, mildew, allergens, etc. No toxic chemicals are employed. In the process, the filter itself is not consumed. Unlike other filters, there is no need to change filter monthly. Suggest to change every 12 months.
