To
Clear Germs and Bacteria
- Sun Light can be used for sterilizing, which is done
by Ultra-violet rays.
-
Studies has proved that ultra-violet can kill germs
and bacteria. Ultra-violet light divided into three
groups known as UVA, UVB and UVC.
-
Out of UVC, 240-260nm wave is most effective in sterilizing
and 253.7nm is the strongest wave length.
-
Ultra-violet sterilizing is one of the cleanest, non-polluting,
non-chemical, without any colour and odour and leaves
no residue, the most natural way to kill viruses and
bacteria.
- Contaminated
indoor air is filled with airborne particles and bioaerosols.
- Bioaerosols are airborne contaminants that include
microbes and their metabolic gases, cell fragments and
spores, other toxins and waste products.
-
Airborne and surface microorganisms include pathogens
( viruses, bacteria and mold, which cause measles, chicken
pox, legionnaires' disease, aspergillosis, tuberculosis
and other infectious disease).
-
Allergens (bacteria and mold which cause allergic rhinitis,
asthma, humidifier fever and hypersensitivity pneumonitis);
-
Toxins (mycotoxins and endotoxins which cause toxic
and allergic reactions, irritation and odours.)
F2F with UVC light
-
F2F model comes with 2 sets of weatherproof UVC light
fixture and holder as an optional item.
-
Required UVC dosage depending on type of germs to be
destroyed.
-
Stronger UVC intensity can destroy germs in a shorter
period
Germs
and bacteria (Micro-organism) are destroyed upon Ultraviolet
intensity. More Micro-organisms are destroyed when stronger
UVC light is shined.
For HVAC system required UVC intensity is based
on the following:
1) subject to be cleared
2) UVC intensity produced from light at working air flow
3) UVC light distance from subject to be cleared
4) Duration of subject and UVC light in contact
Germs and Bacteria Destroying
(%)
- Nearest to tube 4200uW/cm2 96% destroyed
- Middle of 2 light 3200uW/cm2 92% destroyed
- Outermost side 1640uW/cm2 58% destroyed
