It’s time to take care of your AHU evaporator coil!

Recent media articles and news have focussed on the importance of keeping the coiling tower clean, in order to prevent the ‘sick-building’ syndrome and legionnaire’s disease.


THE EVAPORATOR COIL

It is important to clean the evaporator coil inside the AHU. This helps to prevent the condensation from the evaporator coil and accumulated dust from becoming a breeding ground for bacteria and viruses. A better filtration system will also help to keep the evaporator coil clean for a longer duration. Bravo Series Detachable EAC Filter will meet this requirement.

FEATURES OF ELECTRONIC CELL

The cells consist of 2 stages of design: first the 8.2kVDC will charge up the tungsten wire to create high voltage with positive (+) charge for “dirty air” to pass through them; it continue to travel to the 2nd stage of a group of 4.1kVDC collection plate and a group of earth plate (-); the “dirty air” will then all charge up with positive (+) and negative (-) charge and trap to each other like magnet on to the opposite charge collecting plate. Only “clean air” will pass through these 2 stages and go back to the environment, the above process will recur again and again.

FEATURES OF HIGH VOLTAGE POWER PACK

The AC Power, supply to high voltage power pack will filter to DC voltage by bridge rectifier, and pass through primary winding of transformer in designated frequency. Then secondary winding produce 4kV alternating current, according to its turn’s ratio. This voltage is supplied through voltage double circuit and doubled up to required voltage of electronic cells. That helps to maintain constant out put voltage and current, the output voltage and current is controlled by self regulated processor and high voltage power pack will not produce output current more than 5mA under any circumstances.
